210 cheese factories dotted Sheboygan County at one point or another two to three miles apart and typically near a schoolhouse.  The evolution of cheese making and the factories that produced it is a great story near and dear to our cheese loving hearts.   Shown above is the interior of Spring Valley Cheese Factory and the exterior of Passini Cheese.
