2024 Giving Tuesday
International Giving Tuesday is December 3. It is an annual day of giving to support non-profit organizations. The Research Center has been a recipient of generous support of its members, supporters, businesses, and contractors for many years. Last year, with the addition of matching funds, the Center raised $8,000!
This year we are raising funds for a new scanner, projector, and chairs for the Library. Our 2024 Giving Tuesday goal is to raise $4,000 from our support base. Please consider supporting the Sheboygan County Historical Research Center. Click below to donate.
2023 Giving Tuesday Update
The Center received $8,000 for industrial shelving from its Giving Tuesday campaign in 2023. Shelving has been assembled in 3 rooms of the Adams Street facility for collection storage. As these photographs illustrate, the acquisitions from the Mill House are now being assessed, processed, and transferred to Adams for permanent storage. More shelving will be assembled soon. The support we received last year allowed the Center to improve its collection care and management program. Thank you to those who financially gave to this project! We will continue to show our supporters how their dollars make good things happen at the Research Center.
