This class will introduce participants to the tools and resources used for Irish ancestry research. We will explore how to locate records, navigate Irish genealogy websites and archives, and use census, civil, church, and land records to uncover information about ancestors from Ireland.

Participants will also learn practical strategies for dealing with common challenges in Irish research, such as missing records, name variations, and identifying the correct place of origin. Whether you are just getting started or trying to break through a brick wall, this class will provide helpful guidance for researching your Irish family history with greater confidence.
