Birth, Marriage and Death: The Vital Record Trifecta
Vital records are primary documents that are used in genealogy to validate information about an ancestor. The term usually refers to birth, marriage and death records. In this class we’ll learn where to find vital records, what each record can tell us and then how to use each kind of record. We’ll also learn about substitutes if you can’t access vital records.
This class runs from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Research Center, 518 Water Street, Sheboygan Falls. Cost per class is $15.00 for members and $20.00 for non-members. Please call 920.467.4667 to register. This class is open to the public.
