Second Saturdays – Wisconsin State Park System Turns 125

The Wisconsin State Park System began in 1900 with the creation of the Park on the St. Croix River. Today, the system has grown to more than 100 properties. Learn about the fascinating history of our beloved State Parks and of the challenges the system faces today. You will also be introduced to some of the gems found within the system which hopefully inspire your next road trip. Jackie Scharfenberg, forest naturalist with the Wisconsin DNR, will be the presenter.
