On the Road with Lincoln 2019 traveled the Abraham Lincoln Heritage Trail.

In October 2019, SCHRC and Personalized Tours made a great trip east to take in four days of Lincoln’s boyhood history. 35 travelers joined the Sheboygan County Historical Research Center and local Abraham Lincoln expert, Steve Rogstad. Steve’s captivating commentary kept everyone entertained and educated as they explored the places in Indiana and Kentucky where our sixteenth president spent his youth. They visited former President Lincoln’s birthplace, early childhood home, and the Lincoln Museum. They toured Mrs. Lincoln’s elegant family home and the Henry Clay Estate in Lexington. And just for fun, they toured the Louisville Slugger factory and a popcorn extravaganza along with a dinner show at Derby Dinner Playhouse and much more.
